Company History
School-Link Technologies (SL-Tech) was founded more than 25 years ago as a provider of foodservice software to K-12 school districts. The vision then, as it is now, was to create a unique company dedicated to helping public schools qualitatively improve their foodservice operations. Many concepts we pioneered, from “fast food style” terminals to integrated back of the house systems, to SIF, to electronic online payments, to reimbursable vending programs, have since become industry standards. All of these efforts represent steady progress towards a vision of what school foodservice can be.
In 1998, SNAP Systems acquired Computer Assisted Food Services (CAFS). This acquisition produced a company with unprecedented experience and resources to understand all aspects of K-12 school foodservice information technology.
In 2004, SL-Tech acquired inTEAM Associates, an operational consulting company. This acquisition has enabled us to provide solutions that truly set us apart from other companies in this industry. We are committed to working with our customers to harness the combined power of technology and operational expertise to build high performing school foodservice programs.
